Privacy statement for your questions and complaints

Do you have a question or a complaint? And are you using the contact form on https://vragen.coronatest.nl/contact/? Then you are giving us personal data. We use your personal data to answer your question or complaint.

We respect your privacy when we use your personal data. We also comply with the law – the General Data Protection Regulation. This text explains how we use your personal data.

What data do we use?
Are you using the contact form for a question or a complaint? Then we will ask you for personal and other data.

Personal data:
• Your first name.
• Your last name.
• Your email address.
• Your phone number.

Other data:
• The day and time that we can call you.
• The topic of your question or complaint.
• The content of your question or complaint.

Please don’t write anything about your own health in your question or complaint. Information about your own health is special personal data. We don’t need this information to answer your question or complaint.

Why are we allowed to process your personal data?
The law states that we must have what is called a valid legal basis to use your personal data. In other words, we must have a good reason. If you enter a question or a complaint in the contact form, we would like to give you an answer. In fact, it is in your best interest that we answer you. This is called a legitimate interest and it is the legal basis for using your data.

We may use your personal data for these purposes:
• To answer all of your questions and complaints.
• To improve the quality of our services.
• To solve technical problems.

Can we give your personal data to others?
Do you have a question or complaint about testing? Then we may need to send your personal information to others, such as:
• The complaints officer of a local GGD.
• The laboratory that examines your coronavirus test.
• Topdesk: This is the organization that registers all questions and complaints.
• Topicus: This is the organization that created the website for your test appointment and your test result.
• Teleperformance: This is the organization responsible for the various coronavirus test appointment numbers.

Do you have a question or complaint about vaccinations? Then we may need to send your personal information to others, such as:
• The Complaints Officer from your local GGD.
• Topdesk: This is the organization that registers all questions and complaints.
• Teleperformance: This is the organization responsible for the coronavirus test appointment number.

How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data for 6 months. Then we remove it. Are you not satisfied with how we have answered your question or complaint? Would you like to talk to us about this? Or to a judge? Then we will keep your personal data as long as needed to properly handle your question or complaint.

We do keep some information longer:
• Information about the number of questions and complaints.
• The topics of the questions and complaints.
• Information about how long it takes for us to answer a question or complaint.

We are allowed to do this because this information does not contain any personal data.

What are your rights?
If we use your personal data, you have a number of rights. It’s the law. These are your rights:
• You may see your personal data. You can also get a copy of your personal data.
• You can correct mistakes in your personal data.
• You can ask us to delete your personal data.
• You can tell us that you do not agree to let us use your personal data.
