Veel GGD’en sturen mensen die positief zijn getest op corona een beveiligde e-mail met informatie, onder meer voor bron- en contactonderzoek. Hiermee weten positief geteste mensen sneller wat ze moeten doen. Bijvoorbeeld over in isolatie gaan en het informeren van hun contacten.
Waarom stuurt een GGD een beveiligde mail nadat ik positief ben getest op corona?
Het bericht is alleen bedoeld voor de ontvanger omdat er informatie in staat die niet voor anderen is bedoeld, zoals persoonsgegevens . Het bericht is daarom alleen te openen met een sms-code. Die krijgt de ontvanger op het 06-nummer dat zij hebben opgegeven bij het maken van de testafspraak bij een GGD.
Deze manier van beveiligd mailen is een zeer veilige en betrouwbare manier van communiceren. Mensen kunnen met een gerust hart de instructies in de e-mail opvolgen.
Hoe werkt beveiligd mailen?
De GGD’en sturen deze beveiligde mails via SecuMailer. Dit gaat in drie stappen.
Stap 1: E-mail voor identificatie
Het eerste bericht heeft als onderwerp Beveiligd bericht van uw GGD. In de e-mail staat dat een GGD een beveiligd bericht wil sturen. Via een knop komen mensen op een webpagina waar ze een SMS-pincode kunnen aanvragen.

Stap 2: Identificatie via SMS-pincode
Via de knop komen mensen op een webpagina van GGD GHOR Nederland waar ze een SMS-pincode kunnen aanvragen.

Na het aanvragen van de pincode ontvangen mensen een SMS van GGD Corona met de pincode.

Als zij die invullen op de webpagina, krijgen ze te zien dat de identificatie is gelukt.
Stap 3: Beveiligd bericht van de GGD’en
Na de succesvolle identificatie krijgen mensen het beveiligde bericht als e-mail in hun inbox.

Why does the email need to be secure?
The email is private because some of the information in it is not meant for other people. Such as personal data. So the email can only be opened with an SMS code. The code is sent to the mobile phone number you gave when you made the test appointment with the GGD.

How does secure email work?
The GGD sends the email by SecuMailer in 3 steps.
Step 1: Email for identification
The subject of the first email is Secure email from your GGD. The email says that the GGD wants to send a secure email. There is a button you can click on to go to a web page and ask for an SMS verification code.

Step 2: Identification with SMS code
GGD Corona sends an SMS with the verification code. You enter the code on the web page to identify yourself. You will see that the code has been accepted.

Step 3: Secure email from the GGD
When the code has been accepted, the secure email from the GGD is sent to your email inbox.
